The Veterans First Association of New Jersey Inc, an Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation and a fund-raising arm of the Bergen County American Legion (BCAL) is looking for your help in supporting BCAL’s many veterans, community, and youth programs. BCAL has over 100-years of service in supporting our active military personnel, veterans, and the community, state, and nation.
Through BCAL’s Central Relief Committee, during the recent COVID-19 crisis, $37,500 in grants were awarded to brick-and-mortar American Legion Posts to assist them during this emergency period.
Veterans First Association of NJ, (VFANJ) is approved to be exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 501(c)(3). Donors may deduct contributions they make to VFANJ, which is now also qualified to receive tax deductible bequest, devises, transfers, or gifts. IRS has approved our classification as a Public Charity under RC 170(b)(1) (A0(vi).
